Who we are
This real estate business has been in the Westerly area since the early 1900's. It was first named Gavitt Realty and then Lewiss Realty. In 1959 Stanton J. Terranova, Sr. established Stanton Realty (incorporated in 1993).
Stanton, an electrician by trade with a young family, jumped into the real estate business and established himself as a leader in sales and rentals in Misquamicut Beach. He commissioned his two sisters, Lois and Jane, and brother-in-law, Laverne, to work along side him during the formative years making Stanton Realty a true family enterprise.
His entrepreneurship extends into other ventures of Westerly, RI. One of them was The Pleasant View Inn. From 1965 to 2013 he owned and operated the 112 room oceanfront resort, further solidifying Misquamicut Beach as a summer destination. Many local members of the community got their start working with Stanton throughout the years.
It is this quality of character, unique foresight, drive, and determination that has made his businesses and the people who work with him flourish. These qualities are echoed at Stanton Realty today to ensure that the things that got his here continue to drive us into the future.

He started his career under great tutelage with ReMax South County and gained experience and what is important in this industry. He had previously worked for a large real estate brokerage from 2017-2022. Harrison has lived in Westerly with his wife and two daughters for over 10 years.
